Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead major client accounts and play a central role in the continued growth of our progressive, fast-growing agency.
  • Lead integrated corporate communications programmes for clients across multiple sectors, providing counsel to leadership teams, driving high-impact media engagement and delivering commercially successful client relationships.
  • Help shape campaigns and communications programmes that build reputation, influence audiences and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Work closely with teams across strategy, creative, digital and analytics to shape campaigns and communications programmes.

Requirements

  • Act as the senior strategic advisor for client accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Lead the development and delivery of corporate communications programmes, including reputation management, executive profiling, corporate positioning, announcements and issues management.
  • Drive high-quality media relations programmes across national, international, business and trade media.
  • Provide strategic counsel and communications guidance to clients on complex business and reputational issues.
  • Oversee account performance and ensure exceptional standards across all client work — always proactive, commercially focused and strategically impactful.
  • Lead and mentor teams of PR professionals, helping develop talent and maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists across creative, strategy, digital and analytics to deliver integrated communications campaigns.
  • Play a role in business development, including new business pitches, organic growth opportunities and senior networking.
  • Understand and manage the commercial realities of agency life, including profitability, forecasting, resourcing and scope management.
  • 6+ years’ agency experience in corporate PR and communications.
  • Proven experience leading corporate communications accounts across multiple sectors.
  • Strong media contacts and demonstrable success delivering impactful media relations campaigns.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
  • Excellent presentation and client communication skills.
  • Experience leading integrated communications strategies and reputation management programmes.
  • Proven success managing and developing teams.
  • Experience contributing to business development and leading pitch processes.
  • A deep understanding of the corporate communications and PR landscape.
