Responsibilities

• The Retail & Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the dry cleaning and laundry shop while driving customer engagement, brand visibility, and sales through effective social media and marketing activity. This role blends hands‑on shop management with creative digital marketing, ensuring the business delivers exceptional customer service both in‑store and online.
• Manage daily shop operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming customer experience
• Supervise and support shop staff, including training, task allocation, and performance monitoring
• Handle customer enquiries, special requests, complaints, and service issues professionally
• Oversee garment intake, tagging, logging, and order tracking to maintain accuracy and prevent loss
• Maintain shop presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Monitor stock levels for packaging, consumables, chemicals, and retail items
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, COSHH, and company procedures
• Assist with workflow planning during busy periods and coordinate with production teams
• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms

Requirements

• Managment: 2 years (preferred)
• Social media marketing: 2 years (preferred)
• retail/store sales : 1 year (preferred)
• Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
• Location: Exmouth EX8 4NP (preferred)

Preferred

• Experience in dry cleaning or laundry (desirable but not essential)
• Basic photography or video skills beneficial
