Job Description
Responsibilities
- Keep abreast of industry news and provide team insight into trends, competitive coverage and creative pitch angles
- Develop relationships with key media, create media lists, and pitch media for targeted announcements or evergreen opportunities
- Write and edit media materials, including press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, and speaking & award submissions
- Support news announcements, media tours, media dinners, influencer programs and digital campaigns under the direction of team leads
- Responsible for daily account management activities, such as recaps, activity reports, media monitoring and coordination of all necessary materials for client accounts
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop and implement successful PR campaigns
Requirements
- one year PR experience post graduation
- previous PR agency experience
- experience with media relations (media list building, pitching media, etc.)
- possess strong account and time management skills
Preferred
- B2B tech experience a plus.
