Job Description

Product Owner | Hybrid (Manchester – 2 days per week) | £50,000–£55,000 pa

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join us at a really exciting stage of Leadly’s growth.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply manage tickets and chase deadlines. You’ll be right at the centre of two brand-new products, helping shape how they work, look and feel, and playing a genuine role in bringing them to life.

You’ll sit across Product, Marketing, Compliance, Sales and Leadership, helping turn ideas into great products and ensuring everyone is moving in the same direction. You’ll have the opportunity to influence what we build, how we build it and how these products evolve as the agency continues to grow.

It’s a chance to join an ambitious, energetic and genuinely fun team, work alongside some incredibly talented people, and have a real impact on the next chapter of Leadly.

Why This Role Is Exciting

You’ll be joining at a point where we’re building a new product from the ground up.

That means you’ll have a real opportunity to:

  • Help shape the look, feel and user experience of our new products
  • Turn ideas and business requirements into clear, actionable product tasks
  • Work closely with marketing, technical and creative teams to bring products to life
  • Help define priorities and influence what gets built next
  • See your work go from an idea → to a product → to something that directly supports our growth
  • Help establish the processes, structure and ways of working that allow our products to scale
  • Be involved in some of the most exciting initiatives happening across the agency

We want someone who is excited by that level of ownership — someone who wants to get stuck in, have opinions, solve problems and make things happen.

Core Responsibilities

Product & Delivery Oversight

  • Own and maintain task flow within Linear (tickets, prioritisation, updates)
  • Translate business and product ideas into structured delivery tasks
  • Help shape and prioritise the product roadmap
  • Work closely with internal teams to turn ideas into great product experiences
  • Follow up on key actions and ensure deadlines are met
  • Support landing page updates and form / tracking changes
  • Coordinate reporting dashboard builds and data visibility
  • Help ensure our new products continue to evolve based on business needs, customer feedback and performance

Operational Cadence & Meeting Ownership

Chair and structure key business meetings including:

  • ECRM weekly (keep agenda focused and outcome-driven)
  • Organic & SEO weekly
  • Affiliates performance meetings
  • Compliance working sessions
  • Data alignment sessions
  • Daily stand-ups (rotational)

Ensure:

  • Clear priorities
  • Review of previous week’s actions
  • Defined next steps
  • Accountability across teams
  • Meetings lead to action rather than just more meetings!

Compliance & Governance Support

  • Coordinate compliance sign-off processes
  • Support complaint audits and documentation
  • Ensure policy updates are reflected across channels
  • Embed regulatory requirements into campaign and product execution
  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure our products and marketing activity meet required standards

Cross-Department Alignment

You’ll be the operational bridge between Marketing, Product, Sales and Compliance.

You’ll:

  • Ensure everyone understands weekly priorities
  • Align campaign and product requirements with operational capacity
  • Help teams communicate effectively and stay aligned
  • Support content creators with compliance requirements and onboarding
  • Make sure good ideas don’t get lost between departments

Affiliate & Growth Support

  • Chair affiliate performance sessions
  • Track plans and delivery against targets
  • Support onboarding of new affiliate partners
  • Transition ownership where needed
  • Help identify opportunities to improve performance and support agency growth

Firefighting & Issue Resolution

Things move quickly here, and occasionally things break!

You’ll help:

  • Resolve urgent data discrepancies
  • Support media buyers with operational blockers
  • Manage day-to-day technical issues across forms, tracking and domains
  • Respond quickly to leadership escalations
  • Work out solutions when things don’t go to plan

We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.

Reporting & Data

  • Contribute to reporting dashboards
  • Ensure cross-channel data consistency
  • Support monthly data alignment discussions
  • Help improve how we understand and visualise performance across the business
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Essential Experience
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a Product Operations, Product Owner, Operations Manager or similar cross-functional delivery role
  • Experience working within a performance marketing, digital, lead generation or tech-led business
  • Strong working knowledge of task and project management tools such as Linear, Jira, Asana or Monday.com
  • Experience coordinating delivery across marketing, product and technical teams
  • Proven experience chairing structured, outcome-driven meetings
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of landing pages, tracking, CRM flows and reporting dashboards
  • Highly Desirable
  • Experience operating within a regulated environment (FCA, financial services, legal or similar)
  • Experience supporting compliance workflows and sign-off processes
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing models and performance-based partnerships
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of marketing tracking infrastructure (pixels, UTMs, attribution, form integrations)
  • An interest in product, UX and creating great digital experiences
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Operations or a related field (desirable but not essential)
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Lean) – advantageous but not required

🎉 Why Join Leadly?

Because this is a chance to make a real difference.

You’ll be joining an ambitious agency with big plans, an incredible team and two new products that are just getting started.

And while we take what we do seriously, we definitely don’t take ourselves too seriously.

We’re a fun, ambitious team that likes testing ideas, moving quickly, celebrating wins and having a good time along the way. We want someone who will enjoy being part of that culture and bring their own energy to the team.

What we offer:

£50,000–£55,000 salary

Hybrid working: 2 days per week in our Manchester office

The opportunity to help shape a brand-new product

Genuine involvement in the next stage of Leadly’s growth

Structured onboarding and a tailored personal development plan
