Own planning and client governance in a digitally driven retail environment, turning briefs into commercially grounded media plans and coordinating cross-channel teams.

  • Cross-functional coordination: brief and oversee channel specialists to ensure timely, high-quality work and data-driven optimisations.
  • Planning and storytelling: craft clean decks and reports that translate performance and strategy into client-ready narratives.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Support the Planning Lead as a key day-to-day contact for clients, helping maintain strong working relationships and ensuring stakeholders remain informed on campaign activity and delivery
  • Obtain briefs from clients and work with relevant teams to develop clear, commercially grounded responses aligned to business objectives and trading priorities
  • Support planning and implementation recommendations across digital and offline media, with particular exposure to paid social, PPC, online video and performance-led activity
  • Create clean, well-structured decks, updates and summaries that make campaign performance and media strategy easy for clients to understand
  • Present recommendations and media plans to clients, clearly explaining channel roles, rationale and delivery approach
  • Brief, manage and coordinate channel specialists to ensure high-quality work delivered accurately and on time
  • Monitor live campaign performance and work with specialist teams to identify optimisation opportunities and necessary adjustments
  • Support digital and integrated reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and commercially useful
  • Coordinate and maintain core account management documents including finance trackers, media plans, campaign updates and status documents
  • Use industry tools, client data and audience insight platforms to support planning recommendations and channel strategy
Requirements
  • Agency-side experience within media planning, account management or integrated planning
  • Exposure to digital and performance-led media channels, particularly paid social, PPC or online video
  • Interest in commercially driven, fast-moving client environments
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Confidence coordinating activity across teams, channels and stakeholders
  • Broad understanding of the media landscape across digital and offline channels
  • Interest in developing further within performance-focused planning and strategy
  • A proactive, practical mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting and campaign performance conversations
