Job Description

Are you someone who thrives on keeping things moving and making processes work smarter?

This role sits at the heart of our supply chain, giving you ownership of stock movements and returns from start to finish.

You’ll coordinate regular and ad‑hoc stock movements, ensuring they’re efficient, cost‑effective, and delivered on time. Building strong relationships with key supply‑chain partners, you’ll take full ownership of the returns process — arranging timely stock returns, ensuring accurate credits, and maintaining a clear understanding of the stock lifecycle throughout.

We offer an informal hybrid working model, with a minimum of 8 office days every 4 weeks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the end‑to‑end returns process, including supplier coordination, credits, and disposal
  • Produce and maintain accurate returns data, reports, and trackers
  • Investigate return variances, manage seasonality impacts, and support shrink reduction
  • Coordinate regular and ad‑hoc stock movements across the network
  • Support promotional activity through planning, allocation, and tracking
  • Communicate with supply‑chain partners and advise category teams on phase‑outs

We are looking for people with:

Experience in logistics, media distribution, FMCG, or a similar sector (preferred)

Exposure to supply chain, demand or inventory planning (desirable)

Highly organised with strong analytical and numerical skills

Confident using systems and working with data

A proactive relationship‑builder with clear communication skills

Positive, resourceful, and committed to making an impact

Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. If you’re excited about the role and believe you could be a great fit, we encourage you to apply.

What’s in it for you:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your wellbeing and lifestyle, including:

  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Contributory pension, including life assurance, and income protection
  • Informal hybrid working arrangements, combining in-office and remote/home working.
  • Additional leave: 2 paid volunteering days per year and family-friendly policy
  • Wellbeing support, including our Employee Assistance Programme
  • On-site gym and parking at Stuart House, Peterborough
  • Reward Gateway scheme – Smart Spending App with access to a range of deals and discounts
  • Salary‑sacrifice options including private medical insurance, car scheme, and holiday purchase scheme
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Executive coaching and mentoring available to all colleagues
