Job Summary

Own multi-channel public information campaigns that shift attitudes and behaviours, while coordinating budgets, agencies, and data to demonstrate impact in safety and security priorities.

  • Own integrated campaigns from research through to evaluation across broadcast and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with media and creative agencies and manage agency delivery for value for money.
  • Use data to inform objectives, briefs, optimisation, and reporting to prove impact and guide future work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Sitting in the directorate’s specialist marketing team and working on campaigns to inform the public and/or change attitudes and behaviours across all media channels
  • Work on campaigns that improve lives and the safety and security of the UK, and collaborate with media and creative agencies
  • Support and implement marketing strategies in support of the Home Secretary’s priority areas
  • Be a creative thinker and planner, with the ability to work at pace on challenging briefs
  • Deliver integrated paid-for marketing campaigns from initial research through strategic development, creative and media planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Build strong relationships with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders and work effectively with agencies and suppliers
  • Manage and forecast budgets, develop creative strategy, shape propositions and messaging, produce creative assets in various formats, and plan and implement paid media campaigns, including partnerships
  • Analyse and prioritise relevant data and insights to inform objectives, briefs and optimisation, and use data to evaluate impact
  • Demonstrate strong project management and prioritisation, with the ability to drive projects forward across multiple campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, influencing buy-in to proposals
