Job Summary

Own and orchestrate multi-program delivery with a standing, consultable view, managing risk, constraints, and escalation while supporting Program Managers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Consolidated delivery view Maintaina single view of all activity across every programme - what is committed, what is in flight, what is at risk. Own the critical path for each programme and the dependencies between them. Make the view a standing artefact that anyone can consult, not a report produced on request. Delivery discipline Run the operating rhythm: planning sessions, status reviews, the prioritisation forum's inputs and outputs, and post-delivery reviews. Hold the briefing, scheduling, review and approval process and make sure it is actually followed. Track deliverables against agreed dates and chase them without becoming the reason people avoid the process. Risk and escalation Identify delivery risk early and escalate it against defined triggers. Escalate directly to the Marketing Controller and Head of Marketing where a trigger is met. Maintain a live view of capability workload with the Marketing Controller and flag overcommitment before it becomes attrition. Supporting the Program Managers Support all Program Managers in building deliverable plans. Provide consistent reporting so programs can be compared on an equal basis. Continuously simplify processes and remove anything that is not earning its place.

Requirements

  • Proven project or delivery management experience in a marketing, creative or agency environment.
  • Experience running multiple concurrent workstreams with shared, constrained resource.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the judgement to know what matters.
  • Confidence raising uncomfortable information early, to senior stakeholders, without waiting for permission.
  • Ability to build process people will actually use.
  • Strong influencing skills; the role has responsibility across the function and authority over none of it.

Preferred

  • Formal project management training or accreditation.
  • Experience with resource and capacity management tooling.
  • Media, broadcast or advertising sector experience.
  • Experience introducing delivery disciplines into a newly formed function.
