Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across conferences, awards and forums.
  • Write, proofread and coordinate marketing content across email, social media, websites, digital advertising and other promotional channels.
  • Build, execute and monitor email marketing campaigns, including campaign reporting and post-event analysis.
  • Manage social media activity across relevant platforms to maximise audience engagement and campaign performance.
  • Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns for high-profile live events, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Analyse audience data and campaign performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and utilise customer marketing databases to support effective campaign targeting.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of event websites and landing pages, ensuring content remains accurate and engaging.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Editorial, Commercial, Design, Data and Production teams, as well as external agencies and suppliers.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of the Live Events portfolio.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of marketing principles and campaign delivery.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels including email and social media.
  • Awareness of customer data, audience segmentation and campaign reporting.
  • Understanding of content management systems and website maintenance.
  • Knowledge of the B2B media, publishing or events industry is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative copywriting skills across a range of marketing channels.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with marketing platforms, CRM systems or content management systems is desirable
  • Knowledge of the B2B media, publishing or events industry is desirable
