Job Summary

Own the planning, logistics and promotional execution for Institute events, coordinating stakeholder engagement and ensuring high-quality event delivery from inception through post-event evaluation.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent professional Qualifications
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent copy-editing and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with event platforms (e.g. Eventbrite), CRMs, and email marketing software.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with website CMS management.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusion best practices for events.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel, email marketing and social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to use event and marketing data to produce basic performance reports.
  • Experience with a range of digital marketing, analytics or event management platforms.

Preferred

  • Professional qualification in experience in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in coordinating or Experience delivering events from planning through to post-event evaluation.
  • Event Management or Digital Marketing (e.g. CIM).
  • Experience building and delivering digital conferences, awards ceremonies, formal luncheons or other large 3 4 marketing campaigns for events.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, suppliers or partners.
  • Experience managing event administration, budgets and operational requirements.
  • Digital confidence and curiosity — comfortable adopting new platforms and improving processes.
  • AI literacy — able to use AI responsibly for drafting, summarising, analysis and productivity, while checking accuracy and tone.
  • Ability to use digital tools, automation and AI responsibly to improve event planning, marketing delivery, stakeholder communication and performance reporting, while maintaining accuracy, accessibility, inclusion and data protection standards.
  • Experience working within Higher Education, public sector, equity/inclusion organisations, or a comparable stakeholder-led environment.
