Own the creation and distribution of The Churn's marketing and communications content, coordinating social media, website updates, campaigns, and media outreach while maintaining brand consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of The Churn’s marketing and communications activity.
  • Create engaging and authentic content for social media, adapting content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Update and maintain The Churn website, ensuring information is accurate, current and engaging.
  • Gather news, stories, photographs and information from across The Churn to promote our services, activities and impact.
  • Create graphics and other digital and printed materials in line with The Churn’s brand, including leaflets, posters, presentations and event materials.
  • Support the production of newsletters, reports, publications and other organisational communications.
  • Support photography and filming and create short video and visual content for use across our communications.
  • Maintain an organised image library and ensure appropriate permissions are recorded.
  • Support marketing and communications for campaigns, projects, services and community events.
  • Work with colleagues and other organisations to coordinate communications for joint projects and activities.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using social media and digital platforms and can create engaging, authentic content
  • Organised and efficient, able to work at pace and manage a varied workload
  • Creativity and initiative to spot opportunities for content and bring ideas to life
  • Willingness to learn and develop

Preferred

  • Experience of using tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, updating websites, photography or creating video content would be an advantage.
