Job Summary

Own and drive Gulfshore Life Media's local outreach by coordinating events, building sponsor relationships, and managing promotional logistics while maintaining a professional, public-facing presence in Southwest Florida.

Manage calendar of community events and onsite event support.
Develop relationships with local businesses, advertisers, and sponsors.
Support collateral and marketing logistics to enable successful promotions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Maximum of 20 hours/week
Collateral, brochure and program distribution
Make/maintain contact with local businesses, advertisers etc.
Administrative support and digital data maintenance
Assist onsite at events (check in, greeting guests, production, etc.)
Assist with special digital projects
Assist with sponsor/gift bag creation and organization
Assist with maintaining marketing closet organization
Create and maintain a calendar of community events (store openings, charities, conferences, fairs, festivals, premiers, etc.) to be submitted to Marketing Director
Be a positive ambassador for Gulfshore Life Media at all times when in public.

Requirements

Strong awareness and presence in Southwest Florida social, restaurant, hospitality and charity scene.
Ability to network and build relationships
Attention to detail
Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships with the team
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Creativity and ability to “think outside of the box” with events, promotions, marketing materials, etc.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Available to attend/work events on nights and weekends
Ability to work well with other departments
