Job Summary

Own and drive the customer storytelling engine across Pigment by coordinating flagship partnerships, external visibility, and advocacy programs with Sales, CX, and Product to showcase customer successes.

  • Lead co-created case studies and speaker programs
  • Align customers with strategic growth and PR opportunities

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Customer Storytelling & Evidence: Partner with Pigment's customers and internal teams to identify, create, guide through approvals, and share high-fidelity case studies, testimonials, and video stories — a core way we celebrate and showcase our customers' success across Sales and Marketing
  • Flagship Partnerships: Nurture relationships with strategically important customers, building the trust and internal alignment it takes to earn the honor of telling their story publicly
  • Public Speaking Alignment: Identify and invite customer speakers for events and webinars, matching the right customer voice to the right stage
  • External Visibility: Connect enthusiastic customers with opportunities for PR and social amplification, analyst surveys, and peer review sites (e.g. G2) — and, where relevant, help cultivate Pigment's presence within extended communities (finance professionals, AI/data practitioners) beyond our customer base, surfacing new stories and voices along the way
  • Systems of Record: Keep a thoughtful, living record of who we've worked with and how — so customers aren't over-approached twice for the same ask, and every relationship is handled with the care and memory it deserves — including managing the internal AI tools that help surface the right customer story to our sales teams just when they need it most
  • Metrics & Reporting: Support customer marketing metrics and reporting, translating story output into a clear read on reach and impact for internal stakeholders
  • Customer Recognition: Make sure every customer who shares their story is properly thanked and celebrated — through visibility for their own brand and team, invitations to exclusive Pigment moments, and public recognition that reflects genuinely well on them
  • Sales Reference Ownership: Help drive the sales reference process — fulfilling requests thoughtfully, keeping Salesforce and other tools running smoothly for self-service, and making sure every customer who says yes is matched to the right opportunity, recognized for their time, and not over-asked
  • Partner with Sales: Align existing customers with the opportunities teams are working through via 1:1 and 1:many reference discussions, while supplying the public stories, internal-only proof points, and customer voice they need at the right stage of a sales conversation. Flag when it's time to nurture new advocates.
  • Partner with CX: Work with Customer Success as trusted partners and scouts — building a warm relationship with the right advocate before any conversation about sharing their story

Requirements

  • Experience in customer marketing, case studies, or advocacy content within B2B tech — or comparable storytelling experience in PR, comms, or content marketing — with a track record of turning genuine relationships into public celebrations of success
  • Incredible relationship skills — a natural connector of people and details, equally comfortable in a CSM's inbox, a VP's calendar, and a customer's legal/comms review
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the judgment to hold a conversation at any level, from end users to C-suite
  • Tool-savvy and genuinely interested in scaling your own workflow with AI-assisted tools (Claude, Notion, Deeto, Salesforce, and similar)
  • Patient and strategic — able to nurture a meaningful relationship with an important customer over time, and know when to pause and protect that relationship above all else
  • A focused storyteller with a strong point of view on what makes a story land, and the discipline to prioritize the few stories that matter most
  • A great team member who brings energy to a small, fast-moving function and treats every customer interaction as a chance to build trust and celebrate what they've accomplished

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, & vision insurance coverage for you & your loved ones
  • Generous time off and flexible working hours
  • Access to high-end equipment and tools to support your work
  • Remote-friendly environment and global team-wide offsites
