Own the visual brand delivery for council communications across online and offline materials with strict adherence to brand guidelines and a growth mindset for public sector design.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To support the effective development and deployment of the Council’s visual brand, across all online and offline material.
  • With an eye for detail and a passion for visual communication the role will ensure that all design material promotes the council and its partners and meets the brand guidelines.
  • You will be innovative and excited about the potential of public sector design, the role will help to drive the creative direction of the team whilst effectively fulfilling the design assignments.
  • The role requires a strong interest and experience in design practice, and someone who is adaptable, adept at working in a fast-moving and customer-first environment that relies on real-time communications, welcomes change and has a growth mindset.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar creative design role
  • Experience of delivering creative design in communications teams in large and complex organisations
  • Experience of creative design - content and materials for use online and offline – for use in campaigns and plans
