Job Description

Responsibilities

Edit video content with technical and creative expertise—crafting compelling stories and advertisements with animated captions, hooks, and platform-native formats (1:1, 9:16, 4:5).
Color grade, stabilize, and polish footage to build and maintain Highland’s internal and external brand video library.
Collaborate with external editors to deliver content on time for advertising launches and campaigns.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, script, and plan content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads, and other channels.
Shoot and produce video content including lifestyle reels, founder stories, brand narratives, professional testimonials, and educational tutorials.
Apply thoughtful shooting techniques (composition, lighting, movement) to create dynamic, engaging visuals.
Operate cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment on set in varied environments (office, rental homes, barbershop/salon, outdoors).
Organize post-production assets and maintain clean file structures across Google Drive and in-house servers.
Track content performance using engagement, retention, and conversion metrics; iterate and optimize creative accordingly.
Edit and retouch photos using Lightroom and Photoshop; leverage AI tools as needed for resizing, expanding, or adapting assets for multiple platforms.

Requirements

3+ years of experience editing video in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
3+ years of experience shooting high-quality video and photography with a strong understanding of lighting
3+ years of experience editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop
Ability to turn concepts, scripts, and loose ideas into polished short- and long-form content
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Passion for storytelling, aesthetics, and performance-driven content—especially within health and wellness
Motivation to grow professionally and take on increasing ownership over time
Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools, motion graphics, and current social trends
