Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit and publish professional YouTube videos.
• Create daily content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
• Travel to our electrical, solar, battery and EV projects to capture high-quality content.
• Produce project videos, before-and-after content, customer testimonials, educational videos and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Turn every suitable project into multiple pieces of content across all platforms.
• Work with our Managing Director and team to create engaging, personality-led content.
• Create titles, thumbnails, captions, descriptions and opening hooks.
• Manage our social media accounts, comments and messages.
• Create content for our website, advertising, recruitment and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor performance, trends, reach, watch time, audience growth, website traffic and enquiries.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in content creation, social media or video production.
• A strong portfolio containing work you have personally filmed and edited.
• Experience producing long-form YouTube videos and short-form vertical content.
• Professional knowledge of cameras, lighting, microphones and sound.
• Strong editing ability using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• A clear understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• The ability to make technical subjects interesting and easy to understand.
• Strong organisation, creativity, initiative and attention to detail.
• Confidence working with customers, electricians and people who may be unfamiliar with appearing on camera.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable car for business travel for the time being. All authorised business mileage will be paid.
