Responsibilities

• Media & Press Operations • Send press conference invites and schedule press conference dates and times for the Men's and Women’s teams.
• • Support the hosting and chairing of press conferences, coordinating pre-press notes with players and coaches on key topics.
• • Record, distribute and write up press conference video, audio and summaries.
• • Book press conference rooms or set up video calls, and liaise with league contacts (PREM, EPCR, PWR) on scheduling.
• • Support the management of mid-week broadcast interview requests (host broadcaster/radio) and in-game broadcast requests.
• • Manage ad hoc requests from media, journalists and broadcasters, and help facilitate one-to-one player interviews.
• • Source quotes for external partners, broadcasters and leagues.
• • Monitor daily media coverage via Meltwater and help compile weekly and monthly media reports.
• Communications & Editorial Content • Write team news for press release, including player and coach quotes, and manage publication timing under embargo.
• • Liaise with the design team on team news graphics (Next Up, Squad Announcement, milestones, matchday, kick-off, scoring).

Requirements

• Experience in a communications, press or media role, ideally within sport.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines, including on matchday.
• Comfortable liaising with media, broadcasters and external stakeholders.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving parts on a matchday.
• Discreet and professional when handling sensitive or embargoed information.
• Full UK driving licence, and ideally a car for travel to matches.
