Communications Consultant

Responsibilities

• As a Communications Consultant, you’ll act as a trusted communications adviser to Client Relationship Managers and employer clients, helping them to maximise the value of their pension benefit through effective member engagement.
• Develop communication and engagement strategies aligned to client objectives and member needs.
• Work directly with employer clients and use data to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
• Use member insight, behavioural principles and campaign performance data to inform recommendations and improve outcomes.
• Present communication plans, campaign results and engagement strategies to clients and key stakeholders.
• Translate complex pensions and financial wellbeing topics into clear, engaging and accessible communications.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Marketing, Client Relationship Management, Proposition and Operations to deliver joined-up member experiences.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement by identifying new approaches to member engagement and communication effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience developing and delivering communication, marketing or engagement strategies.
• Experience managing communication campaigns from concept through to evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, ideally within a client-facing environment.
• The confidence to advise and challenge stakeholders, using insight and evidence to support recommendations.
• Excellent writing, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• The ability to make complex information and make it meaningful and accessible.
• Experience using data, segmentation and campaign performance metrics to improve engagement.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A collaborative, creative and structured approach to problem-solving.

Preferred

• Experience working within a regulatory environment would be an advantage.
