Job Summary

Own the end-to-end pipeline across CRM, lead routing, paid search, and website activation, driving revival revenue and momentum in specification and route-based programs.

  • Lead the multi-route lifecycle and conversion programs with sales.
  • Own measurement, reporting, and the website journey to support every route.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Route-aware pipeline management. Keep our CRM (Prospect 365) honest and segmented by route to market, so a specifier, an installer, a reseller and a homeowner are never worked the same way — different follow-up cadence, different content, different owner.
  • Quote follow-up and revival. Most quotes currently go unworked after they're sent. You'll build the follow-up motion with our technical sales managers — recognising that chasing a homeowner at day 5 and a specified project at month 6 are different disciplines. This is the single biggest commercial lever in the business.
  • Lifecycle and retention by route. Run the email programme in Mailchimp from the CRM: new-account nurture to a second order for installers, reactivation of lapsed trade accounts, long-cycle keep-warm for specification projects, and considered-purchase guidance for direct customers — four programmes, not one newsletter.
  • Specification pipeline support. Work with sales to track specified projects through to procurement, keep our systems in the spec, and make sure the technical content specifiers need is findable and current.
  • Lead flow and tracking. Own the enquiry pipes — call tracking and lead grading, website forms, and the quality signal feeding Google Ads — and route each lead to the right motion. When a lead drops, it's your job to notice.
  • Paid search direction. Brief and hold a specialist PPC retainer to account, with targets on cost per good lead and invoiced return — and campaigns that reflect the routes (a search for a trade price and a search for 'soundproof my bedroom wall' are different customers).
  • Website ownership. Take our new website from build to launch with our web agency, then own it: content and landing pages per route (a specifier's technical library and a homeowner's guidance journey are different sites in one), conversion performance, and the enquiry paths that feed everything above.
  • Measurement. Report monthly on invoiced revenue and margin by route to market, repeat and reactivation rates, quote conversion, and specification pipeline movement — building on dashboards already in place.
  • Your first 90 days. Stand up the stale-quote follow-up motion with sales, segmented by route, and start reporting revival revenue. Launch reactivation for lapsed trade accounts and the new-customer nurture, from existing segments. Map the specification pipeline as it stands and agree with sales how it's tracked from here. Pick up the website build in flight with our agency and drive it to launch with the route journeys and tracking in place. Take ownership of the lead-tracking chain (calls and forms) and verify nothing drops; set the reduced-spend PPC brief.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in construction, building products, or another multi-route trade business. You understand specification cycles, trade buying and partner-conflict dynamics, or can show you'd learn them fast.
  • You've owned CRM-driven pipelines and lifecycle email programmes (any stack: Prospect/HubSpot/Salesforce + Mailchimp/Klaviyo or similar) — segments, automations, cadences — not just campaigns.
  • Comfortable with data: build a model, read a funnel by segment, argue from numbers to a director.
  • Enough paid-search literacy to direct an agency credibly — tracking, search terms, negatives, bidding basics.
  • A process-owner temperament: you notice what's slipping, identify the issue, and follow through unchased.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing to architects/specifiers, or in acoustics, insulation, or building envelope products.
  • Call-tracking or lead-scoring tools; GA4/Tag Manager; WordPress or similar CMS; managing a website build or relaunch.

Benefits

  • Pension
  • Holidays confirmed at offer
  • Wetherby office alongside the sales team — this role works with sales daily, so office-first with sensible flexibility
