Job Summary

Own the end-to-end business development and marketing mix for a professional services division, coordinating events, sponsorships, digital campaigns and PR to hit division goals.

  • Growth & Partnerships: lead cross-discipline BD and marketing programs across events, sponsorships, advertising, digital campaigns, PR, direct mail and B2C initiatives.
  • Operations & Delivery: govern multiple priorities with strong PM discipline and stakeholder management to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
  • Collaboration & Influence: build relationships across the business to translate strategy into implementable programs that drive growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Partners across the division, you will lead and deliver a range of business development and marketing initiatives that support the division's objectives.
  • This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, including events, sponsorships, advertising, digital marketing, public relations, direct mail, website management and B2C campaigns.
  • The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and commercially aware, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You will be a confident communicator, capable of building effective working relationships across the business and delivering high-quality activity to deadline.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a business development and/or marketing role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Experience using digital platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of business development and marketing principles, including digital marketing concepts and best practice
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic marketing and business development plans
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Personable, confident and able to influence at all levels
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required

Preferred

  • Experience of the legal or professional services sector is desirable
