SUU Aviation is one of the nation's premier flight schools, training a large portion of the country’s civilian helicopter pilots 🚁 every year, and holding one of the most advanced airplane training 🛩️ fleets in the world. Our Aviation Management Bachelor’s degree📋 is fully online, and our Aviation Maintenance Program (AMT) boasts one of the most up-to-date curriculums in the nation. 🔧Southern Utah University is situated at an ideal training location, offering more than 300 days of flying every year. Diverse weather and topography 🏔️combined with a field elevation of 5,622 feet above sea level creates some of the most advanced training conditions possible. SUU offers accredited Associate's, Bachelor's and Master Degree aviation options. At the same time, flight students earn their degrees they also earn their Private, Commercial, Instrument, CFI (certified flight instructor) and CFII (certified flight instructor instrument) certifications. Maintenance students earn Associate degrees along with their Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Certifications.
