Job Description

Responsibilities

Support marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and email.
Create, edit and schedule content that reflects Matēkö’s luxury brand identity.
Support product launches for swimwear, resortwear and new collections.
Research fashion, travel, luxury, resortwear and social media trends.
Assist with outreach to influencers, content creators, stylists, press and potential brand partners.
Help coordinate gifted collaborations and track influencer content.
Write engaging copy for social media, product descriptions, website pages, newsletters and marketing materials.
Support photoshoot planning, campaign concepts and content production.
Help manage the content calendar and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
Monitor reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic and sales conversions.

Requirements

Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Fashion, Business, Communications or a related subject.
A genuine interest in luxury fashion, swimwear, resortwear and African inspired design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and current social media trends.
Experience creating content using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms.
Strong visual awareness and an understanding of luxury branding.
Good copywriting skills with the ability to adapt content for different platforms.
Familiarity with Shopify, email marketing, SEO or digital advertising is beneficial but not essential.
Comfortable reviewing analytics and using performance data to improve campaigns.
Organised, proactive and able to manage several responsibilities at once.
