Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing strategy and leadership: Develop and maintain Pride in London’s organisation-wide marketing strategy in collaboration with the CEO and relevant volunteer leaders.
  • Translate Pride in London’s purpose, values and strategic priorities into clear marketing objectives and annual delivery plans.
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns that support Pride in London’s year-round events, programmes and community activity.
  • Provide strategic marketing advice to the CEO and wider leadership team.
  • Ensure that marketing activity is coordinated, appropriately prioritised and delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Pride in London’s visibility, relevance and impact across London and beyond.
  • Maintain a clear distinction between Pride in London’s organisational brand, annual campaign and individual programme or event identities.
  • Report regularly to the CEO on progress, performance, emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Campaign development and delivery: Lead the development and delivery of Pride in London’s annual campaign and supporting marketing activity.
  • Develop clear, inclusive and insight-led campaign briefs in collaboration with the CEO, Communications Team, Community Engagement Team and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in a senior marketing, brand or campaign role.
  • A strong track record of developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience building, managing or strengthening a recognised brand.
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with creative judgement and practical delivery.
  • Experience developing clear campaign briefs and overseeing creative development.
  • A strong understanding of audience insight, segmentation and research-led marketing.
  • Experience delivering marketing across a range of digital and physical channels.
  • The ability to set meaningful objectives and use data and insight to evaluate performance.
  • Experience managing competing priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support, motivate and develop a volunteer team.

Preferred

  • Experience developing campaigns for or with LGBTQIA+ communities.
  • Experience working with a community interest company, charity, not-for-profit organisation or volunteer-led organisation.
  • Experience working within events, festivals, culture, entertainment or community engagement.
  • Experience managing creative, media, research or marketing agencies.
  • Experience supporting sponsor or commercial-partner activations.
  • Knowledge of accessible and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience working with community advisory or consultation groups.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics, customer relationship management systems and email-marketing platforms.
  • An understanding of the issues affecting LGBTQIA+ communities.
