Job Summary

Build and steward Mood London’s social presence across platforms, turning brand identity into strategic, data-informed campaigns, authentic community interactions, and cross-functional partnerships to grow awareness and follower engagement.

  • Growth & strategy: Own multi‑platform social strategies and calendars, guiding content direction with internal teams and external partners to expand reach.
  • Performance & insights: Monitor analytics, report on KPIs, and translate data into actionable optimizations for campaigns.
  • Community & risk management: Engage followers, respond to comments, and manage crisis communications swiftly when needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company objectives and brand identity. This will mostly start with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, but will expand over time to other platforms including Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and publishing across all relevant social media channels. This includes managing our in-house Content Creator, providing clear briefs, creative direction, and feedback to ensure all assets align with our brand identity.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to optimise campaigns.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interactions in a professional manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media management and public relations
  • Coordinate with our external marketing company or influencers for collaborative campaigns when necessary
  • Manage crisis communication on social media channels swiftly and effectively.
  • Track KPIs and "reach" metrics, providing monthly reports that prove what’s working and where we need to pivot.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in social media management, digital marketing, or advertising.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or journalism is preferable.
  • Proven experience in a Social Media Strategist or Content Strategy role, preferably within the beauty, fragrance, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-platform social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, community growth, and customer acquisition.
  • Understanding of Google Advertising, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and digital growth strategies is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyse social media performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations and future strategy improvements.
  • Experience using social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools such as Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches, and content calendars simultaneously.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, PR, influencer, ecommerce, and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role where strategy, creativity, execution, and reporting are equally important.

Preferred

  • Experience working with luxury/premium brands.
  • Understanding of premium aesthetics, premium consumer behaviour, influencer culture, and emerging social trends.
