Job Summary

Own publishing and optimization for BBC TV social content, turning audience data into publication decisions and coordinating cross-team delivery with editorial standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Publishing & Optimization: Manage day-to-day publishing, write copy, create thumbnails, and deliver content on strategy. - Data-Driven Decisions: Use audience insights and performance data to inform publishing decisions and optimise content. - Cross-Functional Delivery: Coordinate with TV Social Publishing, Campaigns, Production and other teams to ensure timely, compliant content. Requirements - Experience of contributing to the planning, publishing, optimisation or performance management of social media accounts within a broadcaster, publisher, media organisation, agency or other audience-focused content organisation. - The ability to communicate clearly and accurately in writing, with excellent attention to detail. - The ability to make sound decisions about content, demonstrating an understanding of audience needs, brand considerations and editorial standards. - Experience of using performance data, audience insight or other information to inform decisions or recommendations - The ability to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Nice_to_have - Experience using social media analytics, publishing or scheduling tools. - Experience of contributing to content planning or editorial calendars. - Experience in writing copy and creating thumbnails for social media platforms. - Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Media Encoder. - An understanding of how content should be adapted and optimised for different social media platforms.
