Own the end-to-end short-form editing and publishing of wedding content, turning raw footage and client deliverables into engaging Reels and TikToks while collaborating with the Brand Storyteller and the wider team.

- Shape content strategy by spotting trends and applying learnings from performance data
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Editing engaging Reels, TikToks and social-first video from our wedding footage
- Finding great moments within our archive and turning them into fresh content
- Planning, writing, scheduling and publishing content across our social channels
- Creating short-form social Reels for couples from their professionally produced wedding films
- Appearing on camera in BDP team and social content when needed
- Getting involved in creating original social content alongside our Brand Storyteller and wider team
- Staying on top of social trends, formats and sounds, as well as what's happening across the wider wedding industry
- Spotting relevant trends and finding ways to make them work for BDP rather than simply copying them
- Quality checking content produced through our wider AI, automation and content workflows
- Making creative adjustments where needed before content is published
Requirements
- You need to be a genuinely strong short-form editor, with a portfolio or showreel to prove it
- You understand hooks, rhythm, pacing, music and what makes people keep watching
- Is happy and confident appearing on camera and getting involved in BDP social content
- Takes ownership, spots opportunities to make things better and enjoys seeing ideas through
- Has strong creative judgement and excellent attention to detail
- Naturally keeps up with social media, creative trends and the wider wedding world
- Takes feedback well and isn't precious about changing an edit or trying another approach
- Enjoys experimenting with new ideas, tools and technology
- Is organised, dependable and able to manage multiple pieces of work
- Brings ideas to the team without needing every idea to be theirs
Benefits
- £30,000–£34,000 FTE, depending on experience
- £18,000–£20,400 actual annual salary for three days per week
- Permanent, part-time position
- 24 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday
