Job Summary

Own the social voice and reactive listening for a cruise line brand, balancing guest engagement with content creation across platforms.

  • Brand & Community: Monitor conversations, respond warmly, and escalate reputation issues to protect audience trust.
  • Content Ops: Publish, calendar maintenance, and publishing workflows with creator support for short form and photography/video content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement: Support the team in monitoring and responding to conversations across our social media channels
  • Help engage with guests and online communities in an authentic and positive way
  • Assist with responding to customer messages and comments, working alongside our customer contact team
  • Escalate customer service queries or reputation concerns to the appropriate teams
  • Help maintain Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ friendly and consistent tone of voice across all channels
  • Identify opportunities to join relevant conversations and support reactive social media activity
  • Social Content Publishing & Creator Support: Support the creation, scheduling and publishing of content across social media platforms
  • Assist with maintaining the social media content calendar
  • Support content approval processes and publishing workflows
  • Help create and edit social content, including photography, video and short-form content

Requirements

  • Good written communication skills and attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Creativity and confidence in sharing ideas
  • An organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • Previous experience managing personal social media accounts, creating content, photography, video editing, blogging or contributing to online communities would be beneficial although, full training and support will be provided.
