Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing and campaign strategy for The FA's contribution to the UEFA EURO 2028 Community Programme, creating compelling campaigns that showcase its social impact and inspire positive change through football.
  • Develop and deliver campaign strategies to create high-impact moments that bring the Community Programme's key legacy priorities to life, including growing accessible and inclusive disability football, building a more diverse football workforce and inspiring boys through positive male role models.
  • Lead an integrated agency model across PR, content, social and design, ensuring specialist partners work seamlessly together to deliver high-impact, world-class campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively across The FA, UK & Ireland 2028 partners and external stakeholders to amplify the stories, people and impact of the Community Programme and create a clear, compelling narrative.
  • Work closely with commercial and strategic partners to maximise the reach and impact of Community Programme campaigns, aligning partnership activity to shared objectives.
  • Lead strategic marketing and campaign activity supporting England Football's wider grassroots priorities, with a particular focus on improving behaviours across the game and promoting participation opportunities such as accredited football and youth club football.
  • Develop and manage the marketing and campaigns roadmap, setting clear priorities aligned to The FA Grassroots Strategy and balancing EURO 2028 opportunities with wider organisational objectives.
  • Develop and oversee integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring activity reaches priority audiences and delivers against clear objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction across creative, media, PR, communications, content and social, ensuring campaigns are insight-led, audience-focused and creatively compelling.
  • Identify and amplify inspiring stories from across the grassroots game that demonstrate the positive impact of football and strengthen engagement with England Football.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience working in a senior marketing, campaigns, communications or similar role.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Experience developing and delivering PR and communications strategies, including earned media activity.
  • Experience managing agencies and specialist partners across marketing, creative, PR, communications and content.
  • Experience developing content and channel strategies for large-scale audiences and platforms.
  • Experience working across multiple social and digital platforms.
  • Experience working in a complex stakeholder environment and building effective relationships across organisations.
  • Experience of working in fast-paced environments and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing and integrated campaign planning.
  • Ability to develop and deliver insight-led marketing, campaign and communications strategies.
