Responsibilities

• Co-develop and execute the PR strategy
• Co-manage external PR agencies and freelancers
• Develop and distribute news releases to increase the awareness of BCD’s technology in the media. Measure the success of communications
• Manage and build out contacts with journalists by pitching stories and responding to press requests
• Coordinate and moderate interviews between journalists and BCD executives or subject matter experts
• Host media trainings and prepare company spokespeople for interviews by developing talking points
• Plan, coordinate, and create speaker collateral including session descriptions for pitches, presentations, CVs etc
• Track and support the creation of award applications
• Connect with sales and program management to write and publish success stories and create other content that supports sales effectiveness. Manage success story inventory
• Assist PR team in updating company positioning documents

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or public relations (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, proactively and with a global team to meet deadlines
• Fast learner and good listener
• Robust media network
• A collaborative mindset, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to turn complex concepts into creative copy
• Project management and organizational skills (e.g. Monday.com, Smartsheet)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, content management software and social media platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Copilot, LinkedIn)
• Experience in the corporate travel industry preferred
• Experience in a multinational marketing or communications organization preferred
