Responsibilities

• Client Management: Understand clients' goals, objectives, and challenges to develop tailored PR strategies that align with their business objectives.
• Support the COO, who is the Account Director for our client, in providing counsel to clients on communication strategies, crisis management, and reputation enhancement.
• Strategic Partner PR Communications: Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
• Plan tasks effectively, ensuring that team members are equipped to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive PR plans and campaigns for clients, incorporating media relations, thought leadership initiatives, content creation, and digital strategies.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform strategic decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate and optimise PR strategies to maximise results and ROI for clients.
• Good at spotting new business opportunities and comfortable pitching.
• Media Relations: Have proven and existing relationships with key international journalists and continue to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Attend industry events and meet client representatives regularly online.

Requirements

• Not less than five years experience in helping brands with strategic communications and PR.
• UK based, part time communications consultant who would report to the COO.
• Deep understanding of global communications, especially in the EMEA region.
• Mid ranking PR professional with a track record in producing strong PR results for clients in the technology sector, and ideally multiple sectors.
• Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to take the initiative and drive successful PR campaigns.
• An all round communications expert, with PR, crisis communications, strategy and reputation management experience.

Preferred

• Experience across multiple sectors is ideal.
• Experience in technology sector and PR, crisis communications, strategy and reputation management is a plus.
