Job Summary

Own social and content programs for campus catering to reflect local site culture and student engagement, while driving awareness and engagement through campaigns and partnerships.

  • Campaign Execution: Coordinate digital campaigns across multiple sites to drive awareness and sales.
  • Content Engine: Plan and publish copy, visuals, and short-form video for campus channels.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with site teams, student communities, and external partners to boost engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content for @ualcatering, including copy, graphics, photography, reels, and short-form video content.
  • Build strong relationships with chefs, baristas, and site teams to ensure campaigns reflect the culture and activity of each site.
  • Coordinate marketing activity across multiple catering locations while maintaining consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.
  • Analyse campaign and social media performance, using insights and data to improve future activity and support evidence-based decision making.
  • Research collaboration opportunities with student communities, societies, and external partners to increase engagement and awareness.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Attend regular meetings, site visits, and follow-ups with teams and stakeholders, reporting progress to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • Passionate about food, hospitality, and social media.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a social media or marketing role is preferable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexible, hands-on, and solutions-focused with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, trends, analytics, and audience engagement.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, and other editing tools.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines across different sites.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver at pace.
  • Creative eye for content creation, copywriting, and digital storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile when needed.

Preferred

  • Ideally educated to degree level in marketing, digital media, or a related discipline.
