Job Summary

SEO and site-management ownership with a content-led growth approach for a London contractor, turning data into higher rankings, more traffic, and better lead flow.

  • Growth Infrastructure: Manage WordPress, metadata, Core Web Vitals, and analytics to lift rankings and traffic.
  • Content Engine: Create and optimize content and social posts to raise visibility and engagement across LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Marketing Ops & Analytics: Track rankings, traffic, conversions in GA, Search Console, GTM, and other tools to identify opportunities and measure impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company websites using WordPress
  • Improve website SEO performance, Google rankings, and organic traffic
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and implement SEO strategies
  • Optimise website structure, metadata, content, internal linking, page speed, and mobile performance
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and overall user experience
  • Manage Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, and related SEO tools
  • Track website traffic, rankings, conversions, and marketing performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain website functionality using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, and content creators when required
  • Assist with backlink, authority-building, and content optimisation strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SEO, digital marketing, and website management
  • Strong experience managing and editing WordPress websites
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, and related SEO tools
  • Experience improving website rankings, organic traffic, and online visibility
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, metadata optimisation, keyword research, and content optimisation
  • Familiarity with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast, or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website functionality
  • Experience with social media management, digital content creation, and online branding
  • Ability to analyse website and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvements
  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and able to work independently
  • Experience within construction, architecture, interiors, hospitality, or property sectors is an advantage
