Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition and ongoing engagement with a particular focus on B2B across the Defence, Security and humanitarian sectors.
- Lead the development of compelling marketing content across various channels, including PPC, social media, email campaigns and press releases.
- Organise and execute the marketing elements of our extensive trade show calendar – attendance at some events will be required.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Measure and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain our competitive edge and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
- Proven experience (2/3 years) in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the Defence & Security, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including but not limited to CRM software, Google Analytics, and social media management tools (Linkedin being a main channel).
- Creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
- Willingness to travel: 25% (required)
