Job Summary

Own media relations and content production for a growing property business, shaping stories from property operations to press angles, and building pipelines across journalists, partners and campaigns.

  • Manage storytelling across photography, video, and written content.
  • Develop editorial outreach and track impact on inquiries and partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Learn our services, products, customers and commercial priorities in enough depth to explain them clearly.
  • Visit properties and capture high-quality photographs, short videos, before-and-after material and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Manage LinkedIn and the social channels that genuinely help the business, maintaining a consistent and natural voice.
  • Find strong stories in our property operations and research, then pitch them to journalists, publishers and relevant industry websites.
  • Build genuine relationships with media, partners and complementary businesses.
  • Secure relevant editorial coverage, citations and backlinks through worthwhile stories and collaborations—not mass-produced outreach.
  • Produce case studies, sales materials, product pages, presentations, email content and launch materials.
  • Help turn our property data and research into accessible reports, articles and press angles.
  • Maintain a clear editorial and outreach pipeline, follow opportunities through and keep accurate records.
  • Track what marketing activity contributes to qualified property-owner enquiries, partnerships, coverage and revenue.

Requirements

  • Confident taking photographs and filming and editing useful short-form video.
  • Organised enough to manage several stories, campaigns and conversations without constant chasing.
  • Comfortable contacting journalists, partners and businesses by email, phone and LinkedIn.
  • Commercially aware: you understand that attention only matters when it builds trust, demand or useful relationships.
  • Able to work independently while taking feedback without becoming precious about the work.
  • Interested in property, hospitality, technology or data and willing to learn the details.
  • Able to travel around Bristol during the working day for property visits and content capture.
  • Comfortable participating in an occasional out-of-hours rota.
  • A holder of a full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle. Business mileage will be reimbursed.
  • Previous marketing, communications, PR, journalism or content experience is useful, but we care more about judgement, initiative and the quality of your work than a particular degree or job title. A strong portfolio or examples of writing, photography, video, media outreach or campaigns will help.

Benefits

  • £28,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Company pension.
  • Business mileage reimbursement.
  • Performance bonus opportunities and regular salary reviews after probation.
  • Eligibility for company private health and dental care after probation.
  • Flexible unlimited paid leave, subject to operational requirements and rota coverage.
  • Daily lunch or coffee contribution of up to £5 on working days.
  • Employee discount, referral programme, company events, sick pay and access to the company health and wellbeing programme.
  • Three-month probation period.
