Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research high-quality luxury fragrance, beauty and e-commerce websites.
  • Identify the principles that make a luxury website feel refined, complete and commercially effective.
  • Develop an original website experience suitable for a new luxury fragrance house.
  • Review and refine the sitemap, navigation and customer journey.
  • Determine the purpose of every principal page.
  • Create a detailed page-by-page plan covering the sections, content order, imagery, video, copy direction, buttons and links.
  • Plan the homepage in detail, including the opening section, product introductions, brand storytelling and customer pathways.
  • Plan fragrance collection and individual product pages.
  • Decide how fragrance notes, inspiration, concentration, product details, packaging, delivery and returns information should be presented.
  • Plan supporting pages such as the brand story, journal, gifting, customer care, FAQs, contact, account and policy pages.

Requirements

  • Experience in luxury digital strategy, content architecture, UX strategy or e-commerce website planning
  • Experience planning complete websites, not only managing schedules
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding, storytelling and product presentation
  • Experience creating sitemaps, customer journeys, page plans and content matrices
  • Confidence reviewing wireframes and Figma designs
  • Experience briefing and working with external website agencies
  • Excellent written communication, organisation and visual judgement
  • The ability to explain the reasoning behind recommendations
  • The ability to turn a brand vision into a detailed and practical website plan

Preferred

  • Experience in fragrance, beauty, fashion, jewellery or another premium consumer sector is highly desirable.
