Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment of staff up to management level within the UK business.
- Act as a liaison with external agencies and bodies, ensuring internal compliance, performance, and cost criteria are met.
- Support and direct Managers in the delivery of Performance Management and Capability procedures.
- Advise on legislation, policy, risk, and best practice.
- Support and direct Managers in the delivery of disciplinary and attendance management processes, advising and acting as liaison with Occupational Health service providers.
- Develop, implement, and review employment policies, incorporating changes in legislation, business need, and best practice.
- Compile and manage key HR metrics such as attendance, retention, skills management, and talent development, providing meaningful information to stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver effective training materials associated with local policies or initiatives.
- Act as a key contact in the development and improvement of company HR administration processes, including Pensions, Private Health Insurance, and company car administration.
- Ensure that all key personal data associated with employees is accurate, secure, and integrated with other local processes such as Payroll.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of employment relations and legislation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- CIPD Diploma is preferred.
