Job Summary

Own retention initiatives by turning data and collaboration with OEM partners into measurable improvements in loyalty and repeat sales.

  • Retention & Growth: Shape end-to-end retention programs, KPI-driven campaigns, and optimization with internal and external partners.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Translate analytics into actionable strategies across CRM, campaigns, and compliance to drive revenue from existing customers.

Job Description

Own and drive retention initiatives across stakeholders, using data to shape strategy and prove impact.

  • Retention Strategy: Align with HCUK objectives to develop and deliver retention strategy and plans; champion customer loyalty across stakeholders; use data to support rationale and share progress.
  • Planning & Budget: Planning & budgetary control: contribute to the departmental annual activity plan and deliver within the budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Stakeholder engagement: establish sound relationships with Kia UK, HCUK, SCUK, Kia Europe and the wider franchise network.
  • CRM & Channel Strategy: CRM strategy: establish optimal contact points and content (mail, email, SMS) for delivery through the HCUK lead management platform; align with OEM/dealer partners.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Analyse KPIs & management information; publish and present retention metrics and impact.
  • Campaign Development: Retention campaign development: work with OEM partner to deliver tactical campaigns to maximise sales from existing customers (including new vehicle launches and AFV migration).
  • Supplier & Risk Management: Supplier management & system development: oversee 3rd party relationships; manage development roadmap and testing; mitigate outsourcing risks.
  • Coaching & Capability: Coaching & Training: develop training content with OEM partner and Sales Directors; improve performance of lower performers.
  • Brand & Compliance: Branding & Visual Identity: ensure communications align with HCS Corporate Identify and brand guidelines.
  • Data & AI: Data-led insight & continuous improvement: collaborate with AI/ML specialists to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Requirements: Significat marketing experience with customer communication (DM, Email and SMS) and retention activity.
  • Requirements: In-depth understanding and experience of trade cycle management at theoretical and tactical campaign level.
  • Requirements: Experience in motor related financial services or B-2-C and B-2-B marketing environments.
  • Requirements: Experience in organisations with multiple stakeholders and international/domestic operations.
  • Requirements: Ability to extract, analyse and interpret source data to build actionable insight and business cases.
  • Requirements: Ability to manage 3rd party agency & supplier relationships.
  • Requirements: Ability to produce working documentation and presentations including business cases, briefs and proposals.
  • Requirements: Familiarity with legal, regulatory and compliance issues relating to customer data; knowledge of FCA CONC and related principles.
  • Requirements: Appropriate education level or professional marketing qualifications.
  • Requirements: Good general market understanding, business acumen, and interpersonal skills for engaging with Senior management.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with AI/ML data projects.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in motor finance brands or automotive finance environments.
  • Nice-to-have: Willingness to travel internationally for client or partner meetings.
