Job Summary

Own cross‑functional content operations for a regulated life sciences portfolio, coordinating global assets, reviews, and digital tooling to ensure scalable, compliant materials and market access alignment.

  • Own end-to-end content workflows and digital‑innovation enablement to improve engagement across affiliates and channels.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and review stakeholders to streamline approvals and maintain consistent global asset libraries and metadata quality.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supporting global brand and scientific marketing teams by planning, creating, and approving high-impact content.
  • Delivering light medical writing by developing and adapting brand assets for global use.
  • Owning end-to-end content project management by coordinating internal creative and production workflows.
  • Leveraging knowledge of digital innovation by applying content and marketing technologies to enhance engagement.
  • Serving as a Veeva PromoMats SME by managing workflows and coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Collaborating with ABC/MLR reviewers by ensuring seamless review and approval of marketing materials.
  • Building and maintaining scalable content ecosystems by managing portals, libraries, modular assets, and metadata accuracy.
  • Driving global content effectiveness by enabling affiliate alignment, sharing best practices, and establishing KPI frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify and support market access activities to ensure availability of Astellas brands in line with pricing and reimbursement strategies.
  • Support positioning of brands within treatment guidelines and diagnostic protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Solid experience in content creation, copywriting, content localization, and digital/omnichannel engagement within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries
  • Medical copywriting experience gained within an agency or life sciences company
  • Strong experience working with data, analytics, and insights, with the ability to translate data into meaningful information that supports decision-making
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects and initiatives
  • Experience working within pharma brand teams and content creation, and/or brand marketing, including digital strategy, digital marketing, and multi-channel content delivery
  • Up-to-date knowledge of innovations in content strategy, including modular content approaches and evolving content operations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and key stakeholders

Preferred

  • Science degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in omnichannel content within pharmaceutical, life sciences, FMCG, or other content-driven industries, or within an advertising/marketing agency
  • Familiarity with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory (LMR) review processes and local compliance requirements
  • Sales or field experience engaging with HCPs, payers, and patients
  • Exposure to oncology or other specialist therapeutic areas
  • Forward-thinking mindset with a strong interest in digital transformation and innovation in content and marketing platforms
