Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for our in-person and online events
  • Support the creation, scheduling, and optimisation of email marketing campaigns, ensuring high delivery rates and engagement
  • Help generate, maintain and update email lists, ensuring accurate segmentation and compliance with data regulations
  • Assist in social media management, content creation, and website updates to enhance event visibility and engagement
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics, using insights to improve campaign performance across multiple channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and event objectives
  • Provide basic design support for marketing assets, such as social media visuals and banners (experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus)
  • Stay updated on industry trends and marketing best practices to contribute fresh ideas for engagement and promotion.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of email marketing and willingness to learn campaign management tools
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn) and content scheduling
  • Interest in data-driven marketing, with the ability to track and report on marketing performance
  • Event Marketing experience.
  • Additional training or certification in e.g. digital marketing tools, analytics

Preferred

  • An understanding of data protection and compliance in marketing (GDPR awareness is beneficial)
  • Basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus)
  • Some exposure to or understanding of Google Analytics for tracking marketing performance
  • Interest in SEO and PPC marketing (not essential but useful for growth)
  • Basic knowledge of website content management (experience with WordPress or similar is a plus)
  • A passion for learning and development and its ability to affect both personal and organisational change
  • Pro-active, resourceful, self-starter, comfortable working autonomously with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
