Job Summary

Own social media storytelling for education programs, driving student-led content, ambassador collaboration, and data-informed optimization across major platforms.

Content & Campaigns: Plan, create, and schedule on-brand content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Ambassadors & Training: Coordinate student ambassadors with clear briefs and feedback to ensure authentic, consistent content.
Performance & Optimization: Track engagement, report results, and refine content and paid social testing to improve reach.

Job Description

Responsibilities

lead the day-to-day management of social media across our Further Education colleges and Higher Education provision, delivering engaging, on-brand content across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
planning, creating and scheduling content
producing short-form video using tools such as CapCut
maintaining content calendars aligned with recruitment cycles, events and campaigns
monitor engagement and respond appropriately, ensuring any safeguarding or reputational concerns are escalated
coordinate and support ambassadors to co-create authentic, student-led content, providing clear briefs, guidance and feedback to ensure quality and consistency
acting as the main link between students and the central marketing team, and supporting basic training in social media best practice, accessibility and emerging trends
track and report on performance, using insights and data to continually refine content and improve engagement and reach
support paid social activity, particularly across Meta platforms, assisting with campaign setup, audience targeting, creative testing and performance reporting
contribute to wider content creation and digital campaigns, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to enhance performance
