Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Bring the email strategy to life including supporting our testing and optimisation programme.
  • Own the end-to-end email process, from campaign planning and product selection through to build, QA and deployment — making sure every campaign goes out on time and to the highest standard.
  • Write engaging, on-brand email copy and brief the creative team with clear, inspiring campaign requirements.
  • Use data to drive decisions, selecting products and content that will maximise customer engagement, revenue and profitability.
  • Track, analyse and share performance, producing weekly and monthly reports using data from our ESP and reporting tools and turning results into actionable insights.
  • Keep an eye on the competition, staying up to date with competitor emails, promotions and activity and sharing ideas and recommendations with the wider team.
  • Support CRM analytics, getting stuck into ad hoc reporting and analysis to help us better understand our customers and improve performance.
  • Spot opportunities to test, learn and improve, bringing fresh ideas to how we communicate with our customers.
  • Collaborating with different teams across the business from our graphic designers to trade managers and sharing useful and relevant insights.

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a relevant subject is preferred but not essential
  • At least 1 year’s experience in email marketing, ideally within the retail sector
  • Hands-on experience using an ESP to build, test and send email campaigns.
  • A strong commercial mindset and a genuine interest in data, performance and driving revenue and profit.
  • Exceptional attention to detail — you’ll be someone who spots the little things others might miss.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging customer-facing content.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, stay calm under pressure and keep things moving.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel is desirable.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise effectively and keep organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude — you’re a doer who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and make things happen.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in London based office & 2 working from home
  • Holiday allowance
  • 50% staff discount & 25% for family and friends
  • Pension scheme
