Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and delivery of creative campaigns and marketing assets that support Erasmus+ programme objectives and audience engagement.
  • Managing and evolving brand identity, visual style, and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels and communications.
  • Creating and commissioning high-quality content, including case studies, testimonials, newsletters, social media content, videos, and campaign materials.
  • Overseeing the Erasmus+ content and editorial calendar, ensuring a strong pipeline of relevant and impactful content.
  • Leading Erasmus+ social media channels, driving audience growth, engagement, advocacy, and brand awareness.
  • Ensuring compliance with British Council, UK Government, and European Commission brand and communications requirements.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to colleagues on branding, messaging frameworks, content development, and creative best practice.
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and partners to deliver high-quality marketing and communications activity.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and evaluating marketing performance, using insights and data to optimise campaigns and demonstrate impact and ROI.
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends, audience insights, and emerging content formats.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience.
  • Current right to work in the UK. The British Council is not able to support or sponsor work visa applications.

Preferred

  • Experience in the cultural, youth, sport, training, education, or charitable sectors.
  • Experience working within a global or international organisation.
  • Experience commissioning and managing content development.
  • Experience conceiving and implementing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including paid media activity.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of events and webinars.
