Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of communications campaigns for key set piece communications, working closely with colleagues across the Communications team and wider organisation.
  • You’ll oversee corporate award entries and support a range of corporate communications initiatives that help tell the PPF’s story clearly and consistently.
  • You’ll bring strong experience of writing corporate materials and publications, alongside excellent editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
  • You’ll be confident planning and managing communications activity, working with designers, artworkers or creative agencies, and developing content for digital channels such as online publications, websites and email campaigns.
  • You’ll also have strong project management skills, with proven experience of planning schedules, managing expectations and delivering high-quality communications activity on time and within budget.
  • Just as importantly, you’ll be able to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, review work produced by others and give constructive feedback in a collaborative way, helping maintain high standards across our communications.
  • As one of our communications managers, you’ll be a role model for the PPF’s behaviours and play an important part in supporting an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing team.
  • You’ll use plain English, accessibility principles and audience insight to produce communications that are clear, inclusive and easy to understand.

Requirements

  • Experience of writing corporate materials and publications, alongside excellent editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven experience of planning schedules, managing expectations and delivering high-quality communications activity on time and within budget.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, review work produced by others and give constructive feedback in a collaborative way.
  • Ability to develop content for digital channels such as online publications, websites and email campaigns.
  • Experience working with designers, artworkers or creative agencies.
