Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You'll be out and about across Argyll and Lochaber, becoming a familiar face within the communities we serve.
  • Whether you're attending local events, meeting with business owners, speaking with community groups or catching up with residents, you'll be building trust, raising awareness of HBNL and creating opportunities to connect more homes and businesses to our network.
  • This is a highly visible, field-based role where success comes from being present, understanding local priorities and building genuine relationships.
  • You'll act as the link between HBNL and the communities we serve, helping ensure our investment delivers real value for local people while supporting the growth of the business.

Requirements

  • Knows the Local Area
  • strong understanding of the West Highlands and appreciate the unique character of rural communities
  • understands the importance of local relationships and community networks and can quickly establish credibility with a wide range of people
  • Is a Natural Relationship Builder
  • approachable, confident and an excellent communicator
  • a great listener who enjoys meeting new people and building genuine, long-lasting relationships
  • Can Work Independently
  • comfortable planning your own activities, managing your time effectively and using your initiative to achieve results
  • Has Experience in Customer-Facing or Commercial Roles
  • Youll understand how strong relationships can lead to positive outcomes for both customers and the business

Preferred

  • Experience in sales, community engagement, business development, customer relations or a similar people-focused role would be advantageous.
