Job Description

Responsibilities

  • - Focusing on external and internal communications, campaigns and reputation enhancing activities, you will be a keen and outgoing communicator who knows how to use traditional and emerging media channels to target audiences, engage residents and change behaviours with timely content.
  • - You will need to engage our staff and stakeholders internally and grab their attention with timely messages, content creation and eye-catching flair as the Council progresses through Local Government Reorganisation.
  • - You will also be able to demonstrate skills in video editing and graphics and a willingness to explore new ground for the Borough Council with the aim of increasing income and expanding our reputation and profile locally and nationally.
  • - You will be challenged in this role to deliver high quality communications that raise the profile of the Council and your ideas will help shape the reputation of the Borough whilst effectively informing internal stakeholders.
  • - Covering a broad range of the Council’s services, we’re seeking an experienced individual brimming with ideas.
  • - You will be a forward-thinking positive individual who is adaptive and can take an excellent Council with a great reputation and get it noticed even further for all the right reasons?
