Job Summary

Own social content creation for a theatre, turning concepts into posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with a focus on video storytelling and event coverage.

Content ownership: plan and execute a calendar aligned to theatre programming and campaigns.
Production and storytelling: film and edit with mobile/desktop tools and craft captions and promos.
Analytics and optimization: track trends, analyze performance, and deliver actionable insights.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create high-quality content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (shorts).
Film and edit video content (using Canva, CapCut or Adobe Premiere).
Develop and maintain a content calendar to support the theatre’s programming and campaigns.
You may be required on occasion to attend auditions, rehearsals, performances and events to capture engaging content.
Write compelling captions and promotional copy.
Monitor trends and identify creative opportunities to increase audience engagement.
Analyse social media performance and provide regular insights and recommendations.
Work collaboratively with staff, visiting production companies and performers to tell the theatre’s stories.
Assist with wider marketing initiatives as required.
