Job Summary

Own the day to day social content and audience growth for Women’s Work, while keeping the charity’s website current and messaging consistent with campaigns and fundraising aims.

  • Social content ownership: create engaging posts for Facebook, Ingram, and LinkedIn and drive follower growth.
  • Campaign and outreach support: promote campaigns, develop newsletters, and help broaden donor awareness.
  • Stakeholder and events support: attend networking events, capture media, and back CEO and managers in external partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the creation of engaging content for all Women’s Work social media sites (currently Facebook, Ingram and Linkedln)
  • Increase our following across social media sites and help us reach new audiences
  • Promote and assist with development of Women’s Work campaigns to help spread awareness of our work and increase donations
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of the charity website
  • Create marketing and media information including Bi-Monthly newsletter for the charity
  • Attend networking events to raise awareness of Women’s Work, taking photos or short videos
  • You will provide support to the CEO, Business Development Manager and Finance Manager to build and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders and community organisations to support the charity’s mission

Requirements

  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
  • Experience of using Canva marketing Suite and Meta Business Suite and have content creations skills
  • Social media skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills across multiple sectors
  • Empathy and a clear commitment to Women’s Work values, aims and objectives

Preferred

  • Photography or video skills
