Job Summary

Own and drive the end-to-end SEO and AEO program to boost visibility for care homes and related services, coordinating content, agencies, and technical optimization to improve local and national rankings, conversions, and discoverability.

  • SEO & AEO Execution: lead strategy, planning, and cross-team delivery across organic search, local listings, and AI-enabled search tools.
  • Content & Local SEO: shape content for Google Business Profiles, location landing pages, and Help & Advice resources to capture local intent.
  • Agency & Channel Alignment: manage agencies, tools (Brightedge/SEMrush/Screaming Frog), and align SEO with PPC for efficient spend and performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement and develop our SEO strategy in conjunction with Head of Digital Marketing to improve our online visibility for our brand and care homes
  • You will lead the planning and execution of our SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) strategy, ensuring our services are easy to find wherever people are searching for care and advice
  • Partner with search agencies and platforms to strengthen SEO and AEO performance and improve national and local rankings
  • Shape and deliver a content strategy across our Google Business Profiles in collaboration with our agencies and internal teams
  • Create and enhance location landing pages across our website to maximise local visibility
  • Expand our thought leadership content and further develop our Help & Advice resources
  • Manage relationships with SEO agencies and platforms to ensure maximum value and performance
  • Align SEO efforts with PPC activity to reduce wasted spend and drive efficient performance
  • You will play a key role in ensuring our website and digital content perform at the highest level.
  • Optimise website content across written, photographic, and video formats to increase visibility and conversions

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successful experience in SEO while working on search campaigns
  • Multi-site SEO experience
  • Proven experience of working with SEO platforms such as Brightedge, SEMRush, Screaming Frog or similar tools
  • Have proven experience of managing corporate websites and other affiliate websites
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Drupal or similar website CMS
  • Possess excellent written communication skills, which can be evidenced
