Job Summary

Own the full SEO delivery for multiple client portfolios with hands-on optimization, technical SEO fixes, and backlink building while tracking impact across analytics platforms.

  • Own on-page, off-page, and technical SEO workflows; manage client projects and demonstrate impact.
  • Collaborate with content and dev teams to implement opportunities, run audits, and track metrics in GA, GSC, and SEMrush.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm shifts and prioritize actionable insights to drive rankings and qualified traffic.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients across various industries
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for client growth
  • Optimise website content, metadata, and technical elements to improve search engine rankings
  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, content marketing, and relationship building
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and work with our development team to implement recommendations through SiteBulb
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
  • Collaborate with the wider team on content creation and digital marketing strategies
  • Communicate progress and results to clients through regular reports and updates

Requirements

  • Agency applicants: Minimum 2 years of experience in a dedicated SEO role within an agency environment
  • In-house applicants: Minimum 4 years of experience in a dedicated SEO role (experience in a general marketing role does not meet this requirement)
  • Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
  • Knowledge of keyword research and competitive analysis techniques
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how websites are structured
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a passion for digital marketing and continuous learning

Preferred

  • Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, or Tag Manager
  • Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Kontent.ai
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript as it relates to SEO
