Job Description

Responsibilities - Execute and optimize SEO initiatives including technical SEO fixes, keyword research, on-page SEO implementation and regular SEO audits across multiple client projects. - Create and refine content briefs, collaborate with writers or produce content yourself and ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and brand guidelines. - Monitor performance using analytics and SEO tools and provide clear reporting and insights to internal stakeholders. - Coordinate with design, development and marketing teams to improve user experience, support campaign performance and maintain consistent messaging across channels. Requirements - Solid technical SEO foundations. They should be comfortable conducting technical audits, crawl issues, site speed, structured data, canonicalisation and indexing problems. They won't need hand-holding on the basics but may still lean on developers for more complex implementations. - Hands on experience with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and Screaming Frog. At this level I'm expecting them to pull their own data, build basic reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations without much direction. - Content & keyword strategy. They should be able to carry out keyword research independently, map it to a content strategy and work alongside content teams or writers to optimise pages. I'm expecting competence rather than owning the full content strategy. - Reporting & stakeholder communication. They'll be able to produce clear monthly performance reports and articulate what the numbers mean to non-SEO stakeholders. - This role is only available for those that live in the UK. Please do not apply if you live in the UK.
